APRIL 28TH – National Day of Mourning

https://www.ccohs.ca/events/mourning

We will observe a moment of silence at 11:00 am at the strike line and encourage members to wear black, if possible.

A message to our Essential Friends

Although your legs may not be sore. Although your faces may not be sunburnt. We know the burden you carry with the weight of the workload that has built up over the last week is just as heavy.

Your friends on the line appreciate you!

To those of you that have joined us on the line either on your unpaid lunch, or after your hard long shift: We appreciate you!

We’re working hard, escalating our efforts each day. Doing everything we can to get that tentative agreement that will let us return to help clean up the mess Treasury Board has created by forcing this strike.

Fair wages. Fair working conditions. These are what we’re fighting for. Not just for ourselves, but as the largest component for the largest employer in the country, we’re fighting to benefit all workers.

We are all in this fight together!
This is a fight that must be fought!

One day longer, one day stronger!

In solidarity,

The Executive of CEIU Local 581
