Contest time! CEIU Ontario Education

Good day CEIU Ontario member and Happy New Year!

Want to start off 2022 by winning a $100 gift card? Well, we can help with that!Introducing our“Know Your Collective Agreement Contest”And because all highly skilled government workers love a good acronym, we have dubbed it K.Y.C.A.C. !!

Not really, that part was a joke…. but the gift card you have a chance to win is no joke!

The rules are pretty simple. Enroll in and complete the newly developed PSAC online course called Understanding your Collective Agreementin the official language of your choice. It will take about 2 hours to complete, and you will gain some valuable union knowledge.

The link is here:Understanding your Collective Agreement – new online course for PSAC members | Public Service Alliance of Canada (psacunion.ca)

Description: This course is designed for new members and those of you looking to deepen your knowledge of your collective agreement. The course provides you with an overview of your rights as a unionized worker, the role of your collective agreement and how to use it. You will explore what happens when the collective agreement is breached, looking at grievances and the grievance process. And you will explore how collective agreements are strengthened.

The directions on how to sign up for a PSAC account are here:Log in | Public Service Alliance of Canada (psacunion.ca)Once you have an account (many of you probably already do) then register for the course. At the end of the course, you will be presented with a certificate that you can download.

You will then enter our contest by completing this online form :CEIU Ontario – Understanding your Collective Agreement (google.com)and sending your certificate to oninfo@ceiu-seic.ca.

On Wednesday, February 2nd, 2022 we will be hosting an evening ZOOM event where 5 lucky people who have completed this course and entered the contest by using the online form will win $100 gift cards!!!
