Equipping Employees – Home Office Furniture

ESDC is committed to providing a healthy and safe workplace environment, including supporting employees to create an ergonomic workspace, wherever they are working.

Many employees will continue to work remotely, while a gradual and safe return to office occupancy takes place. To better equip employees working from home, ESDC is supporting employees in obtaining a task chair and desk in one of two ways. If required, employees can either:

  • Receive reimbursement of up to $500, supported by receipts (including fees/taxes/shipping), for the purchase of a task chair and/or desk for their home office.

OR

  • Retrieve their existing chair from the office and receive reimbursement of up to $300, supported by receipts (including fees/taxes/shipping), for the purchase of a desk for their home office.
