Income tax- working from home

CRA updated the options mid December. There are 2 choices to claim working from home income tax credit. Electronic signature from employer is accepted for 2020.

The Covid 19 mgr guide section 8.7.13 was just updated Jan 8. It can be found on I Service.

**The detailed method which requires a signed Form T2200S from their manager. This form is a simplified version of Form T2200 if employees worked from home in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and choose to use the detailed method to calculate their home office expenses.

As per PA collective agreement Article 25.08 – core hours are 7-6

*working outside the core hours should not be proposed (or agreed to) for the purpose of avoiding paying appropriate leave

Anyone in Canada aged 16 or older who self-identifies as lesbian, gay, bisexual, Transgender, intersex, queer and/or Two-Spirit are encouraged to complete the survey online, including those who identify as part of the LGBTQ2 community, but use different terms or concepts to refer to their sexual orientation and/or gender identity and expression.
