As a result of recent vacancies on Ontario Regional Council, we are holding a by-elections in accordance with the PSAC Ontario By-laws, for the following vacant positions:

2nd Alternate Region 2, Northeastern Ontario Representative2nd Alternate Region 3, Eastern Ontario Representative1st Alternate Region 4, Southwestern Ontario Representative2nd Alternate Region 4, Southwestern Ontario RepresentativeAlternate Region 6, Hamilton/Niagara Peninsula Representative

To be eligible, the nominees must: Be a PSAC member in good standing from the Ontario Region (encompassing the Province of Ontario exclusive of the National Capital Region); and,All nominations must include a seconder, the nominator and seconder must have been a delegate at the June 2023 Ontario Regional Triennial Convention.Live and work in the Ontario Region
Nominations must be received no later than Friday, April 25th, 2025 at 11:59pm est. Nominations for the position should be submitted to the office of the REVP, by e-mail to reidc@psac-afpc.com. A one-page (maximum) bio must be included in the balloting package.
Please Note: If an election is necessary, only those delegates that were entitled to vote for this position at the June 2023 Ontario Regional Triennial Convention and are still members in good standing shall be eligible to vote. CEIU standing committee vacancies
This is a call-out for vacancies on various CEIU Ontario Standing Committees. The details are below and additional information, including dos and don’ts can be found in the nomination form here.
The CEIU Ontario Standing committees with vacancies are as follows:
First Nation, Metis & Inuit Committee (one 1-year term to end Dec 2025)
2SLGBTQIA+ Committee (two 1-year terms to end Dec 2025, one 2-year term to end Dec 2026)
Differently Abled Committee (one 2-year term to end Dec 2026)
Team Leader/Supervisor Committee (two 1-year terms to end Dec 2025)
Young Workers Committee (two 1-year terms to end Dec 2025)
Completed nomination forms with resumes will be accepted until the deadline of Monday, March 24th, 2025, 4PM (Eastern).
