Local Strike Pay Top Up – Decision
Thank you to all of our members that completed the form and submitted a supporting pay stub within the requested timeline.
This provided us with enough information to be able to present our members so they could make an informed decision regarding a local top up for the April 19-28, 2023 strike.
In light of support from CEIU Ontario Region, our members voted in favour of a local strike pay top up to members’ full net pay.
Conditions to receive a top up:
1. Complete the google form.
2. Provide a supporting pay stub.
Many members have already completed the form. Several members have also provided the supporting pay stub.
A top up will not be issued until both steps have been completed and the submitted information has been verified.
If you have already submitted both of these required documents, a manual cheque will be hand written and mailed to you at the address you provided on the form.
If you have not submitted both of the required documents, no top up will be issued until both documents have been submitted.
Please submit any missing documentation as soon as possible. Details are reposted below:
-completing the GOOGLE form and provided information requested is considered your request for local top up strike pay for applicable dates
2. Members must also email to localceiu581@gmail.com a Pay Stub (any pay stub from 2023 should suffice) (Members may redact/black out any information that they feel violates their privacy interests.)
Please ensure the pay stub includes your name, your gross pay, your net pay, and the number of hours worked in the pay period.
